Will My Furniture Piece Look Factory New When Refinished?

The short answer is no, but there are several reasons why.  All of the pieces that clients bring to me, or I source myself are at most vintage or antique and at least pre-owned.  Because of this prior history, they are often used and loved before I begin to work.  This creates their unique story and can leave traces in the piece itself, that create character and charm.  My goal is to reduce landfill by painting/refinishing these pieces so that they can continue to serve families by creating new memories.

If I Bring A Piece to Rock-n-Renov8, Can You Repair It?

Pieces needing light repairs will be repaired to the best of our ability and knowledge and are in good working condition when returned to you.  If significant repairs are required, beyond the scope of your estimate, or unforeseen damage is discovered, additional charges may apply. Any change in scope of work/price will be discussed with client and approved prior to repair completion.  Please note that Rock-n-Renov8 provides refinishing services and not furniture restoration.

Is the Finish Going to Be Factory-Perfect?

While I do my best to produce a smooth, gorgeous finish, all of my pieces are hand-painted or hand-refinished.  There may be a rare brush stroke or a minor imperfection in the surface.  It is proof positive that your piece was reworked by human hands and makes it all the more beautiful.

How Long Does It Take to Paint/Refinish a Piece of Furniture?

Estimated completion date is an estimate only and the project may take longer due to weather and/or repairs needed.  Wet weather and extreme temperatures can extend finish drying times.

Can I Change My Mind on Color and/or Finish?

Once work has begun, any changes to color, design, finish, scope are subject to additional fees.

Do You Offer Pick/-up and Delivery Services?

We offer free pick-up and delivery services within a 30-mile radius of zip code 94595.  Pick-up and delivery services may be made available for up to a 50-mile radius of zip code 94595 for a fee.  Size and weight restrictions apply.
