This nightstand had such sentimental value to my client, it had belonged to her grandmother. Art Deco Waterfall style pieces are typically made with veneered wood to create that gorgeous curve at the top. The veneer on this piece had broken through and couldn’t be saved. I cleaned, patched, sanded and primed the nightstand. Then came the fun stuff! I painted it a soft cream and lined the drawer with pretty paper. I also added a crystal knob, to make it a bit more user-friendly. Now, it has a new life!
