Black + Brass With a Turquoise Touch

This buffet had seen better days when I found it.  I  reinforced the front legs with steel pins for strength.  Then, the fun work began! I sanded and stained the top a warm brown with a satin clear coat.  The body got a treatment of fresh black paint with new brass hardware.  I find that the inside of buffets and cabinets can often be a little dark, so I painted the interior a warm turquoise.  I like to have an element of surprise with each project.
